Indian cricket team has faced a few losses in the recent times and also have been knocked out from the ICC T20 World Cup, 2012. They could not even reach the semi-final. The crowd seems to be very disappointed with the teams performance and are blaming MS Dhoni, the captain of Indian Cricket team for some of his decisions. But is it the right time to replace MS Dhoni by Virat Kohli as the captain? Will Virat Kohli prove to be a better captain than Dhoni or rather will Kohli be able to match Dhoni as a captain?
Although most of the people are blaming MS Dhoni for being knocked out from the ICC T20 World Cup, 2012 and saying that he should be replaced, I personally feel that Indian Cricket Team cannot have a better captain than him. During his captaincy, India won the World cup after 1983. In my view MS Dhoni should not be replaced. Nevertheless Virat Kohli is a very good player but will he be able to prove himself as an efficient captain as Dhoni?
In view, Indian team does need a replacement of the captain, but i do not think that kohli would be the best option. Until we get some experienced candidate for the captaincy, we cannot let go of Dhoni. But i do certainly feel that the job of captaincy has become monotonous for Dhoni and hence his performance is not as it was before.
