The SGPC has now honoured the kin of the Killers of former Indian Army Chief General A.S. Vaidya. Gen Vaidya Chief of Army Staff at the time of 1984 Operation Bluestar. The Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee has called the terrorists martyrs. In what is being seen as a dangerous precendent, the radical fringe in Punjab has asserted itself, pushing its divisive agenda under the nose of the Shiromani Akali Dal-led coalition government, which now stands accused of going soft on Khalistan Terrorists sympathisers.

Earlier in June this year, Balwant Singh Rajoana, another Khalistani terrorist facing the gallows for the assassination of former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, A Patriot , was honoured at a ceremony at Akal Takht, the highest temporal seat of the Sikh religion.

The act of honouring Terrorists and Killers of A.S Vaidya , who was Chief of Army during the Operation Bluestar at the Golden Temple in 1984, has set alrm bells ringing across the political spectrum. He was gunned down on August 10, 1986, after retirement , nearly two years after the operation Bluestar, by Anti-India Khalistan Commando Force Terrorists Harjinder Singh and Sukhdev Singh.

However, the top Sikh body , SGPC has made a ritual of glorifying these terrorists as martyrs as it organised a grand function inside the Akal Takht to honour the kin of these terrorists. Moreover, the ruling Akali Dal-Bharatiya Janta Party combine has also decided to go ahead with the Bluestar Memorial planned at the Golden Temple. According me to me , BJP has once again proved that It is a Fake Nationalist Party. The Memorial is for Militants killed in Blue star Operation 1984

This is really an act of shame on the part of SGPC. The Killers of former Indian Army Chief General A.S. Vaidya were terrorist and honoring their kins means to encourage terrorism. This act of SGPC is nothing but lighting up the fire and activating the Pro-Khalistan terrorism. Definitely I agree with you that BJP has once again proved that it is a fake nationalist party by supporting the SGPC and Akali Dal for making the Bluestar Memorial planned at the Golden Temple.

I think you are misguided .... even millions of people are misguided .... people believe what they listen.... what was made to teach everybody by the political leaders and even today. initially The Indian National Congress divided the Major part of Punjab into Pakistan and parts of Rajisthan,Gujrat , The brave heroes like Subhash Chandra Bose ,Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh ,Rajguru, and all leaders of the Garam Dal gave their sacrifice for their mother land and they were never aware of the fact that that these politicians and bureaucrats would find their ready made assets in the form of natural resources, land and The Executive power Of government at the Apex. For Instance have you ever wondered that were Tata ,Birlas and and Mittals were given tons of natural resources alone ?

The very first division of Punjab was responsible for thousands of deaths , left civilians of punjab as landless , homeless..
not only this soon the state of punjab was divided again in state of Punjab and Haryana .. and then chandigarh.
political games were played with hearts of civilians.

Jarnail Singh Bhindrawala is considered to be a terrorist ....... he was a religious and military leader notable for his support of the Anandpur Sahib Resolution and the militarisation of the Golden Temple. He campaigned for a return to what he considered to be 'the pure roots of Sikhism'. He advocated against the consumption of liquor, drugs and laxness in religious practices, such as the cutting of Kesh by Sikh youth. He strongly condemned the Indian constitution's Article 25 declaring minorities such as Sikhs, Jains and Buddhists as part of Hinduism.
In August 1982, Bhindranwale and the Akali Dal launched the Dharam Yudh Morcha (battle for righteousness), with its stated aims being the fulfilment of a list of demands based on the Anandpur Sahib Resolution. Thousands of people joined the movement in the hopes of acquiring a larger share of irrigation water and the return of Chandigarh to Punjab.
Bhindranwale has been noted for strongly opposing Prime Minister Indira Gandhi for her alleged actions against Punjab during Dharam Yudh Morcha. Later that year, she ordered the movement of Indian Army on the Golden Temple to flush out the militants. Since his death, Bhindranwale has remained a controversial figure in Indian history: while the Akal Takht have dubbed him and his supporters 'a great martyr of the Sikh Nation who made the supreme sacrifice for the sake of his faith', the Indian government views him as an extremist and a terrorist.
Although Bhindranwale has often been associated with the Khalistan movement, he neither opposed nor supported the formation of Khalistan in an interview, he stated that "we like to live together, we like to live in India", but did not object to the state's hypothetical creation.
