We made the common men wear the thinking cap and propose changes, reformations and alterations that they think can contribute to a brighter future for our nation. Here's the list of proposed changes... 1. Key Result Areas & accountability of MP's When every odd job and employee in our country is assessed on the basis of clearly defined ‘Key Result Areas’, the performance of the so-called ‘well-wishers’ of our country definitely demands a fair assessment! Consequently, all deserving candidates should be rewarded, while a bad performer has to bear the brunt. The MP’s and politicians should be treated according to their performance. 2. Mind set The mindset of the Indian people definitely needs an overhaul. The day people feel that it's 'My country’, there will surely be positive changes in their approach towards everything 3. Responsible youth It’s high time we stop blaming the government and get rid of the “It’s government’s fault” attitude! This is the time to take charge. The youth should become more responsible towards their country and realize the fact that no one else, but the people of India chose their government...so better blame yourself for all the chaos! 4. An end to moral policing It is time to break free from the barriers of moral policing and set a code of moral conduct, where individual freedom deserves utmost respect. The government should shift its focus to other important issues rather than raiding pubs or indulging in round table conferences to fix the dress code for women. 5. Overhauling of the education system The government should realize that students don’t need initiatives like scrapping the class 10th board exams, but the need of the hour is the complete reformation of the education system. ‘Relevant education’ should be heralded! The condition and quality of education provided in government schools should be improved and higher education should be streamlined to be in touch with industry. In short, we should stop taking short cuts and embrace educational reformations that will benefit the students and the country in the longer run 6. Responsible cinema Since the youth is deeply inspired by what they see in films, there should be a paradigm shift in Indian cinema as well. Rather than sticking to slapstick comedy in the name of entertainment, focus on responsible and meaningful cinema 7. Better journalism The amount of footage given to celebs like Chand and Fiza or to Rakhi Sawant made me say that. I think there are better events/people to cover source : TOI
this is only possible when our system is good and one thing keep in your mind system made by us. if in INDIA EVERY SINGLE PERSON THINK ABOUT THE COUNTRY I THINK WE SOLVE OUR PROBLEMS
Seven key areas According to me the seven kay areas where Inidan awaits changes would be :- 1. Eradication of poverty 2. Making Indian women less vulnerable 3. Accountability for work done by politicians 4. Educating the masses 5. Eliminating child labour and child marriages 6. Empowering the youth 7. Building better infrastructure
Seven changes that a 'better India' awaits- According to me, India needs strong development agents in the following areas:- a) Encouraging equality among its citizens, irrespective of their caste, creed, color, race, gender and religion b) A less corrupt government and politicians who work for the development of the nation more than the development of their personal bank accounts c) Decreased crime rate d) A nation which is dedicated to the security of its citizens e) making India a more secular state f) a better education system in place g) place where people live in integrity, despite all the differences that exist
There are not only 7 problems but many taht is making india still a developing country. The Indian government is busy in making money for itself rather than working for the country as a whole...
Indian Women Are Still Ill Treated: Gender discrimination is still a cause of trouble in Indian society, Women are generally married very young, quickly they become mothers, and being burdened with all financial and domestic responsibilities, often they are malnourished lacking proper medical attention. 54% women are literate only compared to 76% Indian men.
There are some great points here! I think education is very important factor in the growth of any country and we should focus our resources on that. Lets make education cheap and affordable but lets also make sure the education is a quality one! Empowerment of women is very important. We have many laws in our country that help women but the women that need them most know nothing about them. Education will play a huge part in bridging this divide. Live and let live is an important thing we should all learn and is a great way to look at life. ---- Learn about the Lokpal bill - SMS @lokpal to 92433 4200 to get the details! Basic reason which I think is the unemployment and lack of small businesses. The world's strongest economy, i.e., United States is having more than million small business which helps in removing a lot employment issues. In India, set up costs are so high, especially the rentals that medium class people can't even think of starting a business.
If all of these suggestions are taken into consideration by most of the individuals of our country then there are ample chances to have a better India. But most of us read this and forget it after a while. Unless and until we put these suggestions into use, better India could only be a dream.
No, I don't think so this lack of small businesses is due to poverty and literacy we firstly, literacy rate should be increased and so thus the poverty and unemployment can be removed.
Fire, Actually, we face similar circumstances here in the US. We have anti-business regulations and tax laws that have made it unfriendly towards small businesses. Don't be fooled by President Obama's employment ploys. I am poor compared to my peers, living off of government assistance for my disability and working part-time. I have worked hard for what little savings I have, and it is daunting to think about starting up a business without having capital upfront to start it.
There are many other points also which a better India awaits.Rooting out corruption is one main point which i think will greatly affect our system in a positive way.11%education is another point which will allow every Indian to know there rights and duities.Empowring women and giving them equal rights will be helpful for them to get an equal status in the society.Better governing bodies in every state so that the every state progresses in a equal manner.Eliminating child labour.Creating oporunities for beggers and poors for their living and finally a better responsible media. This would probably make a better India.
It is really hard to state 7 important changes that are needed in India to have a better nation as there are scores of issues that needs to be addressed and are a hindrance for the development and progress of the nation. Every issue that India today is facing is interrelated and one is leading to the other creating a whole chain. Every issue should be taken seriously and dealt with it if we really covet for a better nation.
India is a developing nation and to become developed and become a superpower, the nation needs reformation. Some changes are essential however, just seven changes won't help India to become the nation that we dream of. One important change that India needs is the feeling of nationalism should be awaken in the hearts of every Indian irrespective of caste, creed, religion, language and status. Many problems that India as a nation is facing will be solved if the feeling of nationalism is developed.
