There are many diseases in india that are life threatening and need precautions before it gets worse. Sepsis generally refers to blood poisoning and in this the bacteria or the infection gets into the blood stream and thus the situation is quite threatening. This disease is really quite dangerous.

Sepsis can be really life threatening if it gets to its worse. Generally sepsis starts off with a common infection which can be warded off by using Anti-septic lotions, creams, ointments or solutions like Dettol etc. However in case there is a profound sepsis, the localized area, if it is a limb, would be considered for amputation by the surgeon to prevent further transmission.

Yes! Sepsis or septicemia is life threatening as it is a state where the blood in the body gets poisoned. Sepsis is caused as a result of viral infection during operation or child birth. It is a serious condition and also causes death in severe cases. A small cut can also be dangerous and cause sepsis so it is always better to take tetanus injection if you get a cut.
