I have not seen any school for poor children so far either by the government or by any NGO. Don't you think that there should be free education for children of all age group and they should be provided a quality eduction? I am just wondering that why not people and mainly the government think anything about this issue.

yes i agree with you.. for now education has been made a fundamental right of every child, there should be enough schools with good infrastructure to enroll in.. though there are some schools but their quality is very much downgraded wherein the students do not even have proper shelter nor proper sitting system.. we have evolved and so does our education system should!!

There is a need of schools and colleges for children who cannot afford the high fees of the private schools and colleges. There are many people who want to study but they simply cannot due to the lack of money. they do not have enough money to fulfill their basic needs and how come they will be able to afford the high fees structure of the schools. So it is the duty of the government and NGO's to open several schools and colleges for such children as eduction is the basic right of children.

There are few schools that are opened by the government of india and some socialites who have enough money and they want to utilize it for the betterment of poor people. Some NGo's have also opened schools for such children but the studies given at these schools are not worthy enough. The teachers are not that active as they should be like that in private schools. I guess there should be better management and guidance should be given and done to make the studies better.

People who can afford they should do some noble cause by opening schools for poor children as there are many children who cannot pay the huge fees of the private schools and in government school the education is not up to the mark. SO schools for poor children is very important as they are the future of the country and without education nothing can be achieved.

After seeing the Situation of literacy in India it has become quite vital to open the schools for poor children. India, Pakistan and Nigeria account for 27% of the world’s out of school children. Adult literacy rate is less than 60% of the total adult population in South and West Asia. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh can read and write with understanding. This was disclosed in UNESCO’s Education for All Global monitoring report of the year 2007.

Lack Of Education Among Poor Indian Children: Indian Government offers free education cum books for every child and even milk, food is provided to those poor kids in school. Still around 8 million children aren't attending school. Parents must encourage their children to go to school and government should build more schools in villages.

Street Children In India: Indian system, illiteracy, adult-unemployment, poverty is increasing child labor in India, more and more children are heading the streets to work as beggars, or selling flowers or other items. These poor children are even forced to starve so that people may actually feel sorry for them and offer them alms.

I have seen the growth in the increase in schools for poor children but the teachers hardly pay any heed to these students. Schools have undoubtedly opened by the government and few NGO's but teachers do not take any interest in teaching children who are poor. They are only concerned with their salary and other facilities provided to them. Government should keep a special check on such teachers.
