Spectrum allocation largest scam in independent India The Bharatiya Janata Party Monday termed the allotment of 2G spectrum licences to private players by the communication ministry as 'the largest scam in Independent India'. 'It's a monumental scam. It is the largest scam in independent India,' senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley told reporters.The leader of the opposition in the Rajya Sabha said the matter cannot be a 'subject of controversy'. He said the ministry sold the licences for Rs.1,650 crore to some real estate companies which had no experience in the telecom sector. Communications Minister A. Raja is at the centre of the controversy over the awarding of 2G spectrum licences last year. His office was raided by the Central Bureau of Investigation last week. source : Yahoo
In India now no one is afraid of doing scam as everyone know that the Govt will form an inquiry comity witch will take year and years to submit the report and till then the matter will be not relevant only.
