Everybody who loves India, our motherland knows that India stand upon the pillars of Sanskrit. but now a days we are ignoring it.We refer it as a dead language.mind it the language is not dead ...we are going to be dead WE have no more the Sanskritic culture. The West Bengal was rich Sanskrit .mostly in Navdweep.there the people used to learn "Nyaya" very much so they rich the "Nyasastram"...But the tradition is fully destroyed ......West Bengal government also declare like that .... What we will do by reading or learning Sanskrit ..this language(Sanskrit) is only for the priests.... ... what we will do ...if a government body says like that .......... In India very few places is aware for that ....In varanasi , Kasi we can find the culture of Sanskrit .....Sanskrit is the mother of all the modern aged languages ...It itself is the part of Indo -uropean language ... We should never say that sanskrit is a language for Hindus not for muslims. It is our cultural Heritage. so Indians should raise their voice to save Sanskrit.
I visited couple of Ashrams in Hardwar where about 40-50 kids from age 4 to 15 years were in the process to become priests. The Pundits there were teaching them shlokas, sanskrit, etc. Yes, number of such Ashrams is less when we see the Indian Population. These ashrams are dependent on money, clothes, given by domestic tourists. Government should promote such places....and please no "secular" shouting in this issue...there is nothing biased in it. It's just for securing our culture.
