India is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second-most populous country with over 1.18 billion people, and the most populous democracy in the world. The Indian economy is the world's eleventh largest economy by nominal GDP and the fourth largest by purchasing power parity. It is a nuclear weapons state and has the third-largest standing armed force in the world.while its military expenditure ranks tenth in the world.

It is a founding member of the United Nations, the East Asia Summit, the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement and a member of the Commonwealth of Nations and the G-20 major economies

So many achievements yet such a long way to go....take a minute and think about your country......Corruption, Poverty, Inadequate Infrastructure, Crime, Injustice, Terrorism......aren't these the first things that come to your mind when you think about our country

Mahatma Gandhi once said."Be the change you wish to see in the world." so lets use this platform to be that change for our country....lets talk, discuss and educate about not only the flaws of our nation but also its achievements, its visions and victories.

Our country ,why do we always have to think negative about it. We achieve something and some newspaper or media channel takes it away from us. I want to, for once feel the happiness , feel proud and cherish the moment of glory with my country. and they cannot take that away from me... or from my nation !!

I read the newspapers, I watch the News, Things are happening...and they keep happening, yet i sit at home, do nothing or maybe can't do anything.

Thought of taking some things in my hand, to improve them, to educate all, to tell all my opinion.

Every time my desh makes news, i will write about it. I'll write my own opinion. whether its good , bad wrong or right.

Its my Motherland and I want to improve it. I want to save it.

Save my desh, i agree to you 100%. i honour your optimistic views.
but do you think that by only writing about India's troubles will solve anything. many things have been said about our troubles. many things have been written about our troubles. but has their been any proper improvement yet. what we need is serious action .

have anyone ever thought of the fact that when Indians are responsible for the development of life and science all over the world ,when indians excel in every field, why is India still in such a condition. It is because we lack a govenment that can channelize our abilities in the right direction.

We need immediate change in the political and administrative system of the country. A system that ensures the selection of able individuals and not criminal groups to carry on the task of governing Mother India.

we cannot expect government to change policies and make the system more transparent overnight.
But it can be done, if a strong public opinion is present.
we need to educate people about their rights. about how politicians are looting them by giving money in exchange for votes.
we need to encourage the educated people to vote and participate in election.
If Egypt can topple a 3 decade old government by people participation. we too can force the government to take some stern actions against the corrupt.
We also need to stop the trend of rich industrialists getting elected... once they become ministers they work for their own profitability.. we need more teachers, social reformers, farmers in politics...

i think we are in a nation with a huge democracy and in such a huge and young democracy, there are ought to be flaws which are inevitable. not everyone in the government can be expected to be perfect nor can there be complete justice. india is a young nation and i agree that we need to save our motherland from the atrocities of day to day life which we face.
