According to a recent survey by Union Urban Development Ministry, 423 cities of India were studied and rated on parameters such as absence of open defecation, proportion of generation and collection of excreta, disposal of waste and supply of treated water. Chandigarh was found to be the in the top list where as Churu of rajasthan is in the bottom.
