Samsung has come up with Galaxy Tab 620 with a new approach to the earlier tablets and is similar in terms of design but slimmer than the earlier versions. It is a 7-inch tablet that runs on Honeycomb v3.2. It has TouchWiz UX UI and comes with PLS LCD screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600pixels. The tablet is powered by he dual-core Exynos 4210 chipset with the Mali-400MP graphics chip and it has 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory. It supports FLAC files and is DivX HD certified. The Tab 620 is a quad-band GSM tablet with support for voice calls as well. t also supports 3G with full HSDPA (21Mbps) and HSUPA (5.74Mbps) support. It also has WI-Fi as well as dual-band support, which means the Tab 620 can connect to either a 2.4GHz band or the much faster 5GHz band. WI-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, and TV-out complete the set of connectivity options. It also has a video calling option. Although the camera is only 3.1MP, it has auto-focus, touch-to-focus, smile detection and panorama modes. It is a decent Tablet and is priced at Rs. 26,000/-.
