Kavita Daswani, the author of the book Salaam, Paris manages to shun the palpable truism of the chick-lit genre in her multi-cultural believe on the coming-of-age of a young Indian beauty. As a rule the picture involves girl seeking true love and career, running afoul of the world, overcoming the obstacles and living happily ever after. This is a decent book and the author has be able to keep the flow of the book with are nice writing style.
