Women, no matter in any sphere they are always working trying their hidden possibilities with regard to raising their status, position, rights, freedom and safety in the society. As we all already aware of the current status of the Indian women in the society which is not so much pleasing, Indian women have to cross many barriers in order to prove their value and existence in the Indian society. Indian women want to empower themselves in a holistic way, and when we talk about women empowerment, we are actually talking about all the groups of Indian women that would be incomplete without including the rural women as well. Where the women living in the urban cities are paving their pathways to success at the same time the rural women are also showing their keen interest and putting their persistent endeavors to bring changes and betterment in their lives. There are many of the rural women who have set inspiring examples of the other rural women to keep trying and to make sincere efforts in the way of their development and growth. Chetna Sinha is one such name among the rural women who have not only reformed her life but she had also contributed immensely to the welfare of other rural women in India. She is the first rural women who initiated the first co-operative rural bank for women, she presently runs a three rural enterprise, which are solely committed to the welfare of rural women. Women like her are not only inspiring but also depict that the Indian women are nowhere less than men and they are completely determined to contribute to the nation’s development as well.
