Toddler is the stage where a being is in the purest form. This is the stage where a child is just so pure at heart and like a blank paper. At this stage the child learns the things very quickly and tries to observe the things deeply. The child simply imitates what his/her parents and other family members do in their daily life. And this is also the stage when the child learns to get along with others and especially learns to socialize in the outside atmosphere. In this case the role of the elders of the family is very much significant. According to the studies, it has been proved that those kids who are brought up under the guidance and presence of elders are found to be much more confident, social, active, alert, caring, concerned, curious and extrovert in comparison to the children living without any elder in their family. In fact elders love small kids, they want to spend their time with children of the family, they like to listen to the sweet talks of children and moreover they feel this is the best thing they can do, in their old age. Elders can help the small kids of the family in their socializing process by taking them to the parks, for a walk, taking them for recreational activities, by taking them to temples, by introducing them to their own friends and others, by playing, reciting moral stories and so on. These all activities will help the children to raise their confidence of meeting the outsiders and would also lessen their fear and make them extrovert.
