Particularly the famous female celebrities can play a unique role in spreading the awareness as well as in order to make a plea to the people of the society to eradicate the act of female foeticide as a faster pace. There are many female celebs and personalities such as actresses, dancers, painters, sportsperson who are much popular among the youth and the other people. Everyone loves them, believe in them and also follow them. In such a case they can very well convince a mass of people and can spread the awareness among them about the ever decreasing ratio of women in India. It is also their duty and responsibility to become an active part of the social issues because they have power, prestige, recognition and a voice that would obviously be heard.
