Revision is an act of examining again in order to remove remove any defect or grant relief against the irregular or improper exercise or non-exercise of jurisdiction by a lower court. Under Section 399 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Session Court has the power of revision and under section 401, the High Court has the power for revision.
