To be able to know what talent your child does possess and to encourage the same is an important part of parenting. Many times it happens that the parents do not know what specific talent their child has and also they impose their own likings and choices over the child. But the talent is not something that can be brought out forcibly rather is a natural feature that lies hidden in the personality of the person and needs to be emerged. And it is the duty of the parents to help the child to recognize his/her talent/talents, for this the parents should themselves be aware and motivating. They should understand the fact that it is the talent that makes the personality of the person impressive and unique and if they would recognize the talent of their child and would encourage the same then in a way they would immensely help the child to become an amazing personality.

•To recognize the talent of the child it is must that the parents give enough freedom of expression to the child so that the he can freely commence the things/activities that he loves to do.
•Parents should listen and see to what the child is trying to portrait in front of them however the talent can never stay hidden but still, giving attention to what the child is doing is much needed.
•Sometimes we tend to ignore our child’s different ways of doing his/her things thus awareness and attention towards the child’s activities, are must. Parents should be aware about when and how the child is involved in his activities.
•Encouragement is very important once the parents know that their child is good at some activity, creatively engrossed and also passionate about something then motivation and support is all; the child needs in order to fully manifest the talent.
•Comparison with other kids and competitive spirit must be kept away, otherwise parents would themselves push their child towards disappointment and depression.
