People are facing huge water crisis in India especially people leaving in cities. It is mainly due to urbanization which has increased in the recent time. Not very long ago, water crisis problem was not there much. In order to deal with water crisis, rainwater harvesting is an effective way. It was first introduced in Andhra Pradesh. In rainwater harvesting, rain water is collected and stored and reused for drinking, irrigation livestock etc. It can actually reduce the problem of water. In my view rainwater harvesting should be made compulsory in India as it will solve the issue of water problem. What do you think? Should it be made compulsory?

I agree that rainwater harvesting should be made compulsory in India. India is facing immense water supply issues, especially in the urban areas and the reason of the water supply problem is high rate of migration of people from rural areas to urban areas and this is increasing the water crisis. Rain water harvesting is a great solution to this problem and by making it compulsory, this problem can be easily tackled.
