Rahul dravid is a not just a casual player. He got thousands of runs under his bat. He is considered as the great chapter for classic indian cricket history. When everyone failed in english tour dravid is the only man stood straight keeping his head high and challenged several English players. After such wonderful performance, he's selected into ODI team only to replace yuvraj as he was injured.
It's shameful for BCCI as Rahul Dravid literally showed his anger by announcing retirement after English series. Dravid is a great batsman forever; only mistake Dravid has done is being captain for 2007 world cup team. It's really unfortunate for team India losing to Bangladesh and knocked out of journey without qualifying for super 8s. May be Dravid 50% of fault will be with his captaincy but how far it's fair to suspend him from team for 4 damn years.
I feel what BCCI did with Dravid is good for Indian cricket team. After 2007 world cup, BCCI lost their hopes in senior players and started their hunt for young players. BCCI seriously constructed Indian team with young players from 2007 and it is seriously responsible for Indians win against world.
