Punjabis are the most fun loving and enthusiastic people. Punjabi weddings are glamorous as well as in a grand way. Every ritual is carried out with in a grand way and with enthusiasm and zeal. It is like a big celebration and exciting. It starts with roka , which is followed by sagan, chunni chadana, sangeet and mehendi. The next part is the wedding ceremony that begins with chuda, vatna and ghara chadana which is carried out at the brides place. Mini ceremony, varmala, kanyadan and phere are the rituals carried out at the wedding venue. The last part is the post wedding celebration which is carried out in a very lavish way. It starts with Vidai, followed by swagat ceremony, mooh dikhai ki rasam , Reception and pag phere.

Pujabi weddings are a delight to the eyes and are celebrated in the most lavish manner.

Punjabi Weddings are the most lavish weddings in India. Every ritual is solemnized with great pom and show. The Punjabis are fun loving people and it can be seen in the weddings. Punjabi weddings follow every ritual elaborately and with grandeur. Dance and music are the main attractions of Punjabi weddings. The Sikhi's solemnize the weddings in Gurudwara and it is solemnized in a very simple way unlike hindu Punjabi Weddings.
