Public health system in India undergoes scores of tribulations which consist of inadequate grant, scarcity of facilities leading to congestion and stern lack of skilled health workers. There is also lack of responsibility in the public health relief systems. These are various reasons which have positioned India at the lowest rank in the Human Development Index. However, it has been witnessed that India ranks the top in migrating heath professionals to countries like U.K, U.S. etc which has led to a murky patient-doctor ratio in the nation. Nevertheless a the Government has made policies for improving the public heath system but it lacks implementation.
