Being an Indian is itself an honor and a privilege to an individual because India has always bestowed full freedom of expression, beliefs and actions to its each citizen. And this freedom can also be seen when different people of India feel full freedom in following different religions while living in a same country. Our country gives equal treatment to the different Religions followed by the people of diversified creed, castes, communities and ethnicity. People are entirely free to follow any religion of their choice in fact there is no restriction and limitation from the side of the Indian Government too. People are free to have faith and believe in any school of religion and moreover each religion is, given equal importance and regards. Whether it is Hinduism, Sikhism, Christianity, Buddhism, Muslim or Zoroastrianism and so on, each of the Religion is given equal respect and importance in India. This also makes our country not only secular but also religious and culturally diversified! India has confided its people in such a wonderful manner that not even a single person feels to be different and alienated even after following a variety of religious beliefs. It is basically the ‘freedom of choosing and believing in any belief, philosophy, and ideology’ that encourages a person to create harmony and cooperation with others. And in India this freedom is much more regarded and liberally given to the people. We should be proud to live in a country that respects our choices of beliefs and ideologies.
