There is no limit to creative exploration in India; it is full of creative arts and highly artistic and visionary people. Indian artisans are immensely talented and possess a vast ingenious experience. For centuries Indian art and crafts have allured thousands of tourists which truly admire it and want to possess the same. It takes a lot of sheer hard-work, patience and innovative mind to become a good artisan, an artisan puts his/her whole creativity even in one single art piece. There have been many artisans as though but some of the famous artisans are Banamali Mahapatra (National Awardee 1996 for Ganjifa Cards), Gokul Behari Pattanaik (artisan of Patta Chittra), Vijay Soni (Paper Rangoli making), Vijay Joshi (Phad Paintings) and Rabindra Behera (Patta Chittra and Palm Leaf Painting). There are numerous of artisans in India who are involved in different kinds of arts and craft making, some are experts in Jute painting, durries, shawls, cane & bamboo craft, terracotta jewellery and other textile crafts. Indian artisans are boundless their determination and passion towards arts is immeasurable. I am really proud of such great artisans of my country who have shown mesmerizing examples of their talent and creativity. Only because of our passionate artisans the Indian art and craft culture could flourish to this extent and has survived for so long. We should be thankful to all the great artisans of India who helped the Indian art to get famous across the world.
