Although the idea of a separate nation for the Sikh community called Khalistan no longer has any subsistence, however, it has been reported that the armed Sikh separatist movement is still not completely over and it is only dormant. The Akali Dal who is leading a coalition Government in Punjab is fanning the anger that is hidden inside these terrorist to come out. It has also been reported that about 170 terrorist have been arrested from Punjab in the past four years. By seen these facts it can been said that Pro-Khalistan terrorism is still active in Punjab. What are your views regarding the activeness of Pro-Khalistan Terrorism in the West and what will be its consequences?
Pro-Khlistan terrorism is quite dangerous for our nation. It has already proved it once in 1984 when Operation Bluestar was conducted. The want of a separate nation for the Sikh gave birth to Khalistan Terrorism. Although, their activities are now dormant, a small spark is enough to activate them. The consequences of activeness of Pro-Khalistan Terrorism in the West is very dangerous. A single attack on India from any side will lead to another partition.
