But stress at any time and in any form is not good for the baby at all therefore the mother must make this phase fully peaceful and happy for her as well as the baby. This is the actual time to prepare oneself mentally as well as physically for a good delivery of the child. Following are the small things a pregnant lady can take into consideration during the last few weeks of her pregnancy : -- During these last few weeks the mother should try to take rest as much as it is possible. Rest is very important for the body because it relaxes the muscles and nerves and helps to conserve physical stamina for bearing the labour pains at the time of delivery. -- Doing light exercises only with the consultation of the Gynecologist would help in preparing the body for the labour. --Mediation and positive thoughts would immensely help the mother at this time. It will boost up the morale and mental strength of the mother to undergo the mature labour/sudden labour. A mother should listen to peaceful music at this mind to soothe her mind and heart. This will help her to raise her mental power and will also help in caressing the child under the womb. Sometimes a pregnant lady encounters sudden labour only due to stress and mental tensions which she should try to avoid with the help of techniques of music and meditation. -- Try to speak less or when required, this helps in saving energy besides this;she should also do deep breathing exercises that helps in relaxing and raises the energy level. -- Try to sleep on time, and avoid waking up late night hours.
