According to me Indian bureaucrats are more corrupt than politicians. They teach politicians how to make money.No political leader can make money unless the bureaucracy helps them in taking wrong decisions. Who do you think is more corrupt between politicians and bureaucrats in India?
Helping the politicians in the hunt for wrong doing is more illegal than what politicians does actually. So i think bureaucrats are more corrupt than politicians and if they are stopped most of the criminal activities can be stopped.
i agree with you . in fact we are facing the same problems, we have notorious corruption among the bureaucracy and also politicians of the government, that is a serious problem! then my question is that " how can we preclude this to happen with a legal system?"
neither politicos nor bureaucrats are more corrupt ... we people are the most corrupt & that leads to corrupt Politicians being elected & corruption in the bureaucracy ... if we stop paying bribe to govt officials then corruption will end ... & who are these politicians & bureaucrats ... they are not someone who have come from some other planet ... they only represent the people & if people are corrupt ... they will automatically be corrupt ... i will explain my point with a small example ... building a commercial property in residential area is not allowed ... however people who want to build such property will just grease the palms of govt officials/politicians so that there property gets registered ... now who is the initiator of corruption ... its not politicos, nor bureaucracy ... its people like u & me ...
Afterall it’s us who choose them It’s our job to choose the political parties and the politicians who are suitable enough to represent us. Bureaucracy is at par with the political games. Both are the seeds of evil. Bribe and illegal activities are followed at random in the way our whole system acts. We are the ones who should stop it. Afterall, we are the game makers.
i think both of them are equally corrupt as one cannot work alone. both politicians and bureaucrats help each other in money making and at the end it is us who are suffer for their misdeeds in the form of heavy taxes levied upon us. i think bureaucrats should be prosecuted if they are found to be accomplice in any act and set an example to other bureaucrats so that they do not dare help politicians committing crimes.
in my view its more of politicians and it is their influence which makes bureaucrats also corrupt. atleast if bureaucrats refrain from being corrupt, the system has chances to see a positive change. but the fact being majority are corrupt and the legacy is continuing.
in my view its both! but the intensity is more in politicians. they are more corrupt as they are less educated. some politicians are even illiterate who cannot even put their signatures. such is the condition of politicians. atleast the bureaucrats are not of that condition.
It is a crystal clear fact that both bureaucrats and politicians are corrupt. The difference what i see is bureaucrats are educated and corrupt. Where as politicians are little less educated or even uneducated and corrupt. Nevertheless, as nothing can be done about them, but for the future we are in dire need of cleaner men to work in our constitution and government.
Corruption is the root cause of every criminal activities going on in the society. Neither the Politicians nor the Bureaucrats are less responsible for corruption. These are basically white collar crimes and we, the citizens are responsible for making them corrupt by bribing them for every small work. If we stop bribing them and take action against these white collar criminals, corruption can be put to and end and can have a better Nation.
Corruption, bureaucracy and politics have become synonymous with each other. All the three are interrelated and one cannot exist without the other. Bureaucracy and politics gives rise to corruption. Neither politicians nor the bureaucrats are less corrupt, both are at equal level and one cannot do without the other. The only difference is bureaucrats are educated corrupt and politicians are both educated and illiterate corrupts.
Both politicians and bureaucrats are the pillars of governance and good governance can be expected only if both politicians and bureaucrats are good and strong. But it is generally seen that both politician and bureaucrat are equally corrupt. However, corruption is mainly due to excessive power that are vested upon the politicians as well as the bureaucrats.
