Indian women have been versatile in all the aspects of nation's development and growth. They have always been active in the Democracy, Constituency and in the building of other substantial matters. Indian women have been greatly committed to the promotion of nationalistic views and have tremendously contributed towards the social, economic and more importantly in the Political front of the country. They have been active as activist, social reformer, administrators, bureaucrats, and successful leaders. The political participation of Indian women has been truly renowned and praised by everyone. In fact India has a good record of electing women candidates to govern the Indian states. Being on the political position women have shown magnificent results in the field of education, infrastructure development of the country, betterment of the health sector, development in the standards of living for the people of the country. Indian women should always continue to make their active participation in the politics because it also improves their status in the society as well as strengthen their hold in the governance.
