Petrol prices have seen the hike for the 10th time since july 2010 and this time the prices have gone up by Rs 3.14. This has increased the burden on middle class and lower class people as transportation would become difficult under such high prices of fuel in India. The hike is supposedly caused due to weakening of Indian rupee against the dollar. I think the government must revive its economic policies in order to bring back the foreign investment to strengthen the Indian rupee.

The hike in petrol price is creating havoc in the country. Assam is a sate which produces the highest amount of crude oil in the country but it is the people of Assam who have to pay the utmost tax for petrol and diesel. This is creating difficulty for people in commuting from one place to another. The hike in the price of petrol has laid in the rise of fare of the public transport and the common man has to suffer as all cannot afford to pay the high fare. In my view the government should revitalize the economic policies and make fair policies which will be beneficial for both the government and the people of India.

On petrol price, Indian government is playing game, some times it say that price control is not in its hand but when election comes, it decrease or stop the rise in petrol price.
If it is increasing then it is purely failure of govt. policies.
