Panasonic has been launching new models and designs of compact cameras quite frequently. However, Panasonic has launched Lumix SZ1. This model portrays a different look and does not look similar to the traditional zoom cameras from Panasonic. SZ1 is available in three colour options, which are silver, red and black. These cameras all feature a silver strip that runs along all four sides which help in raising its style factor. The front of the body features the Lumix branding, the large lens, AF assist and the LED flash. The rear of the camera has a 2-inch display and the different buttons used for accessing the various camera options. The most attractive feature of this model is that it comes with a large 10x optical zoom. MEGA O.I.S., which is Panasonic's image stabilizing technology aims to reduce the amount of blur in shots used with zoom as well as macro. It also helps in reducing blur, due to accidental hand shaking as well. A 16 MP is added to the camera. The camera is priced at Rs. 10, 990/-. The camera is feature rich seeing the price tag of it and performance of the camera is also good.
