Asha is a new series launched by Nokia in December 2011. Asha 300 is the first phone to come with pre-installed Angry Birds. The phone is well-built and is a light weighed phone. It is a touch-and-type phone and has the traditional keypad and those who are used to with QWERTY keypad may find it little difficult to use it. It also supports #G but does not have a front facing camera. It runs on the Series 40 Operating System and comes with a 1GHz CPU. It has quite fast interface. The media players supports the standard formats and is not of excellent quality but good. The Asha 300 is a quad-band GSM phone as well as 3G with HSDPA speeds maxing out at 10.2Mbps and HSUPA speeds at 2Mbps. Although the camera is of 5MP, the quality of picture is not good. The phone is priced at Rs. 7,000/- which is extremely high seeing the features of the phone.
