Today no media is supporting Jammu ,neither newspapers nor news channels and local channels are banned ! TV channels also contributing to give negative image of the region. Media is totally biased towards the valley. National media has failed to behave in a responsible way. all the channels are basically focussing dier eyes on kashmir and jammu is no where to see. the real problm is not coming into the light so that whole nation get to know about the tension, from which jammu poeple are suffering. if u will go through the article written by barkha dutt you will be shocked to know that she is also supporting valleys poeple. instead of highlighting the truth she is trying to be close to those poeple who are responsible for the cause. Jammu people are not suffering from anything... what are you talking about and what cause is it that you are talking about? If this is about the Amarnath shrine board land then how is it a cause of suffering for people in Jammu? Its not a Jammu issue its an issue for every one in the country not just people of Jammu.. its just that some politicians are trying to get a bit of leverage out of this thing and have stationed themselves at Jammu. I am not against the Shrine board or shrine board getting the land or not getting the land but why shoud the shrine board get this land in the first place? I am an Indian and I cant go and buy a small peice of land anywhere in J&K so why should shrine board be treated any differently? Its a different thing that this stupid article should have to go and every Indian should have a right to buy land in J&K if they want to and then shrine board can buy a peice of land where ever they want. This government sponsered land is not a very good idea in my opinion and all the relegious activities sponsored by the government should be stopped atonce if this nation is to live in peace. The government of India sponsers the HAJ for thousands of Muslims every year and there are a lot of them from Kashmir as well .... Without going into much detail lets just cut it here and at last I would say that the government should stay out of all relegious matters and neither encourage nor dennounce any relegious stuff.. be it any relegion. This land could be leased to the Shrine board for say 99 years or something to keep every one happy... if atall this makes anyone happy.
Govt. should stay away from religion Government stop favoring the religion. It is in our constitution that govt. should not favor any religion. even the politicians should not but they do. This is because there is very less representation of minorities in politics & Govt. Let the local govt. handle the issue. There are Muslim pitthus in Vaishno Devi, does it creates problem for you. Do you know most of the Muslims living in India are converted from Hinduism only just because of the mean policies of these dharma gurus. These issues of temples are actually source of income for just 20 or 30 people group you would not be getting even a single penny out of that. God never created money then why people try to make God happy by donating a number written on a paper which is made after killing a tree. Even the ink used is harmful to human if swallowed how can this bribe make god Happy. Save your environment, Respect your environment that will make God Happy the most. Stop bullying on issues which are not correct but just based on majority
i think indian media should act responsibly and bring in the views of nation to jammu who want peace and integrity in that state. it is true that indian media has been airing negative views on the state and this has to be changed because already the people of jammu started feeling strayed away from the nation due to biased treatment by the government. it is upto media to bring changes about in the state.
media is concentrating more on scams and scandals as these fetch them more and more TRPs and so who the hell would show jammu?? these media people are purely working for monetary purpose. they have no attitute of serving the nation by doing something right. the days of journalism that could bring positive changes in society are gone. now it has become merely a business game
Media is definitely being biased and these high named journalists are also the part of it. In place of using their power in the right direction they are becoming mere corrupt. In the above post one of my friend said that Barkha Dutta is not revealing the actual truth about the people and how they are living and in fact support the valley people, and why should not she? She is married to the Muslim from Kashmir and so she would not highlight the truth. She has the power to show everything but she does not as people when reaches to the higher level.
I think Jammu and Kashmir are integral part of each other and there should not be any bias. Media on the other hand has the great responsibility on its shoulders as to what it broadcasts on television or prints on the papers. People would take it as it comes because everyone trusts in media for we all believe that media does a lot of research and produces the news. But since the facts are far from reality, i think we should stop believing in them and rather ask for justification.
