Indian women are the symbol of devotion, compassion and power. They are 24 x7 devoted to their families and children, they are constantly making efforts to give away their best and they are doing all this without having any selfish motives. They do not expect anything in return, they never complaint to their families and children about anything rather sometimes they themselves create guilt feelings for not being attentive and lacking in caring for the family members. But this does not mean that while doing all this they do not need anything, rather they do need and deserve a lot more in return than they do for others. They need Empathy, Affection and most importantly Emotional Support from their family members and children. Few of the surveys reports state that a major number of Indian women tend to feel a lack of emotional support in their lives. They do not ask for any materialistic pleasure but they do seek for affection and attention from their family and children. They seek to spend a qualitative time with their families. They can face any upheaval in life but they do wish for little concern from their family, spouse and children. Emotional support plays a very important role in a person’s life especially the person who is continually making sincere efforts for others and giving a major portion of her life for the goodness of her family. Emotional support raises the confidence and feeling of security in a person and that is what the Indian women are needed to be given in the present context of the Indian society.
