    Naxal Naxalites Naxalism in india

The lives of Indian security personnel are not less valuable than the lives of the Naxalites. Indian Government can’t make our brave Soldiers scrap goats by developing soft corners for someone else.

The problem with the Naxals is that they are against the democratic system of our country. And India in no way can end its democratic system. If the Naxalites demand some changes within our democratic system for improvement of the conditions of the socially backward people living in the remotest part of our country, it can be welcomed. But abolishing democracy for the betterment of the lives of a section of society can never be supported. It can never be the solution. Government must have to bring them to the negotiation table by a distinctive policy.

We also want that the conditions of the people who are living in the remotest should be improved. But killing the security personnel to achieve this can never be supported. At the same time the foreign powers that are trying to take advantage from such situations should be checked. Our government needs a different policy to tackle the Naxal terror.

The Soldiers are carrying out their duties for the nation, where as the naxalites are most probably following orders of foreign power who want to destabilize the country. It’s the time for our political parties to decide, which side are they on?

We need to learn from what happened in Nepal. We should not prepare ourselves for a Nepal like situation by simply observing whatever is happening in our country. Indian Government must have to take action against the Naxalites.India should Declare war on Naxals. At the same time adequate measures for the improvement of the conditions of the socially backward people who are living in the remotest pat of our country should be taken.

    Jai Hind !

No amount of armed action can quell public uprising. The wounds have to be healed by restoring ethics, morality, removal of corruption and and egalitarian socialist and welfare society.

During last 7 years of Manmohan tenure, things have gone from bad to worse including rampant rise in property and commodity prices and concentration of wealth with under 4% people in India. This government has failed to reduce corruption despite 6th pay commission, focus on infrastructure, Agro out put and judicial reforms. India has reached new high of corruption in the society. People are helpless and desperate with people like Chidambaram enjoying luxury and huge incomes while recklessly taxing a poor citizen to feed their luxurious life style. Be prepared for more high intensity civil wars in India in next decade.Politicians should come out of self imposed theory that Indian armed Forces will control public unrest.

In India there is nothing of the sort of government for the people. here always had been governments of the corrupt to fulfill their own vested interests not of the people. our politicians and bureaucrats have totally failed to do anything for the poor, downtrodden and illiterate rather have made all the policies to keep them in the same state.what these people can do except adopting militancy after decades of exploitation, injustice and suffering.

    Reply to all

Firstly, our topic says about launching war whereas that situation has long gone..Naxalis have themselves launched war on government and on Indian Democracy, its time to reply them now.

Secondly, I agree with Manpreet that they are not an easy target. Not only they are cruel, but also economically very powerful. They have a turnover of Rs. 1500 Crore per year!!All of this money is earned through illegal ways such as extortion, robbery & drug supply.

Besides, we cannot send Army because

1)Army warfare would result in large no. of casualties including innocent civilians living there
2)There will be requirement of large troops which would result in less security on border
3)It would require imposition of Army rule there(they are spread in 1/3rd of India's districts)

Thus, the only quick way we have is to train Police forces and CRPF sufficiently to handle this battle. Its the test of Home ministry now.The long term way was to make people understand that Naxals are wrong and to fulfill the demands of people peacefully. But this would not be sufficient now at such a point when red terror has grown so strong.

    Thanks.

    Shri R.K. Gupta,

Please tell me which govt. has done sufficiently to curb corruption?None and govt. can't even do it.Govt. would be corrupt until people are.

Please don't forget that when you go to a govt. office, the person demanding bribe for your work is not a congress/UPA person but a common man like you and me.
When all people are corrupt and unwilling to work, why the heck would govt. care to work honestly??

We are the problem and we need to curb it!

Secondly you cannot blame Home Minister P.Chidambaram like that until you have proof against his honesty. He is one of the few most learned minds of congress and his immediate resignation after the recent attacks shows his honesty.I am not a Congress supporter in general but I and complete India appreciates the economic development UPA govt. has done and besides other parties haven't done that much also.

That's all true but don't you think its our mistake too?Do you question what govt. does?Do we all even vote!!!We have just been blaming.
When we are not trying to control govt. why would the govt. be controlled by people?

Please tell me if i am wrong

Why is it that whenever we get a chance to show our majority we just jump on the situation & everyone tries give justification on the part of the government as if defending the government against some crime..

Don't support killing from any side whoever it maybe? It's not an international issue we need to be united to solve this problem since it is our problem.

People who are living in remote areas don't have a say in the govt. since there issues are seldom discussed seriously in the parliament. We all know that govt. always supports the industrialists over the local peoples especially regarding the land issues that is because of our present theory of liberalization & globalization.
There is a Monsanto Company providing patented BT cotton variety in the Vidharbha region. This variety requires lot of care regarding irrigation & pest control. Uptil the end of march 200 farmers have committed suicide & none of them is a naxalite. If the seeds of BT cotton are used again then by US patent laws cases are filed against these innocent farmers hence they have to buy these every time.

Most importantly the use of these hybrid seeds was encouraged on the name of green revolution & Now we are seeing operation Green Hunt. I can't understand why would someone hunt greenery.

Let's try and understand the problem

I think we are getting entangles in a mess with all the arguments which are obstructing clarity..

    1. We utterly reject the idea of anybody who propounds the doctrine of armed upraising and overthrowing of Indian democracy. On this front no leeway shall be given to Naxals or anybody.

    2. There are genuine greviances faced by different sections of the society in our still to be perfected democracy. These sections need to be given justice and a fair chance to succeed

Naxals and politicians both seems to be getting confused between the two points above.

Truth is what should always remain at the top

When I watch news reporting on issues like some actors birthday or some actors conflict or some useless cricket controversy I couldn't make out what picture of democracy we are being shown these days, or sometimes you find dharmik babas taking up the place especially in the morning when we want latest news we are surrounded by various dharma adhikaris which I would like to say are greatest frauds of the century. Total annual turnover of astrologist is 14,000 Crores which is not a less amount.
News Media was made to communicate the truth during the independence struggle but nowadays TV Media has become certified by most who have Television in their homes, but we forget that they are costly venture & need money which they get from sponsorship of Industrialists. Also they would get more money from Multi National Companies then Indian Companies & since they want more money so they would encourage policies of Globalisation hence they would always support political parties that encourage Globalisation & Liberalisation just for their own selfish motives.
We all know that Yamuna today has become a Nala just because of these Companies effluents but what News media had done to prevent it.

There are 4 crores cases pending in the Court

I think there are 4 crores cases pending in the Court. When some person has to be hanged who has full media coverage then it takes only 1 year to convict that prisoner. On other hand victims of riots in our country fight for their atrocities & not even get the accused arrested even after 20 or 30 years of hearing such impartial is our law & accused also get full media coverage & shows his smiling face often on the hearing date.
Police knows this well & puts heavy section of cases against the poor people & light section on those who are in their good books or rich people

You can open a thread to discuss about corruption, why de-rail this thread? Your frustrations with GoI can be tackled with in another thread. Please do not whine about corruption or GoI in threads which discusses other issues.

    Thank You.

This is of course issue of Corruption because Govt. is interested in 3 trillion dollars of Bauxite hidden in the mountains there. They are selling these minerals to Foreign funded Companies. Not even using for people welfare. Do you remember Ambani brothers fight over Natural gas resources few days back?

Do you know that Natural gas is Our Country's property not there private property for which they are fighting & India can do wonders by using these resources properly?
Do you know Ambani's export petroleum products & India import same petroleum products at higher rates on foreign conditions?

Anywhere in the world where ever people are suffering it is because of pact of private Companies & Ruling Government there hence all is due to Corruption.

    I hate the naxalites

I hate the Naxals and the Naxalite violence. I want to say that why is it that when there is sixth pay commission held these bureaucrats who all time are sitting in AC's increased the salaries at par the army officials who are always standing at the border for the safety of our country.

Why is it that when leaders want to increase their own salaries they just get it passed without taking consensus of common public?

Why the soldiers who have given their sacrifice for the country are valued less than the local political leaders?

I think we all are responsible for this, I remember Major Sandeep UnniKrishnan who became a Martyr for the country. His father was ill treated by the chief minister of that state. For how long we are going to take this, it is unbearable.

Why we focus on the parade part so much? Why don't we dedicate this time to some more specialized kind of training for them? What would be the use of costly weapons if they are not trained properly to use them with confidence?

i think that to declare someone terrorist first condition is

i think that to declare someone terrorist first condition is that they are seperatist, second condition that they come out of their areas and kill anybody anywhere in the whole country and there is affect is not local.
I think root cause should be
    1. The introduction of panchayati raj system without curbing the caste system in those areas. What happens that people of higher caste already have money and power & they themselves become the the panchs & sarpanch and do decisions without any logic since they are unaware of indian constitution. Even if Reserved seats are there for Backward, dalits and adivasis. There posts are mere symbolic.
    2. Another example is mid day meal scheme . In places where is too much casteism children of dalits and adivasis are kept hungry for the whole day. Even sometimes they are forced to sweep the whole school alone.
    3. There is a Ranveer sena which is a group of landlords who started killing hundreds of dalits & adivasis in these villages overnight which intiated people to go into bad company.
    4. Then State Government started salva judum which made these Ranveer Sena people the white collared soldiers of the government and these people on the name of self defence again killed hundreds of people and raped many adivasis women who then ran into the jungles and are still hiding in the jungles as told by news reporters
    5. Then State Government announced that anybody who is hiding in the jungle will be treated as a naxalite which segregated these people and these peoples were forced to join the naxalite groups.
    6. These naxalite groups started by training lower caste women who were either raped or harassed by higher caste dabangs. When they got symapthy and entry into village. they made groups of people and started conducting plays depicting stories of humiliation which started creating a consensus against their own state government. These drama companies then started moving from village to village & influencing more people.
    7. Then One State Government sold the land near Nyamgiri hills to some UK based Indian Company which was interested in the bauxite ore which costs 3 trilion dollars today. The people living here are Ghonda adivasis who pray the Nyamgiri parbat. They live on food sources of the jungle. They is also a river flowing near it. They say that they would give their life but not let the company drill their mountains. But with the Support of State Government this company was allowed to start a plant without even any clearance from environmental & forest deptts. Supreme Court itself questioned the quickness of govt. in helping establishing the company. All the employees were outsiders & no jobs for the natives since they were illiterate. Also when the drilling of mountains started, it continued 24 hrs and created so much noise that tribals near it could not sleep at night properly. It created so much dust that river was filled with dirt and even the people started remaining dirty & eventually diseases started erupting in the areas nearby. Most importantly to get land for the plant which is a very big plant bulldozers were used at night to damage their houses & they were forced out their own houses where they had been living for past 2500 years & finally oldest indian culture was destroyed. In a dance ceremony they wear crown of bulls horns which indicates their relation with Oldest God Pashupati who is also called Shiva, So Old is their culture. When they were forced out they also started moving into the jungles & started damaging roads made towards the jungle & finally the so called naxalite were also able to influence these tribals through the help of some so called NGO who were less of acitivists & more of revolutionists. It is said that before 1970's around 80% naxalites were well educated and this percentage is continously falling which is making these people more aggressive & definitely a danger for state governments.
    8. Establishment of democracy in Nepal has also lead to enhancement of aggression in Our country since It was reported that Nepalese maoists after estalishment of democracy sold their weapons to Naxalites at very cheap rates. Also some Nepalese maoists may have joined these naxalites as a regular job which has lead to a more inhuman approach of these so called Naxalite Maoists.
Which we saw when Innocent Inspector was beheaded by these bastards & which lead to initiation of Centre Government into the 50 year old problem.
    9. Centre Government instead of curbing the causes of problem started ways which were unethical. These all problems started in 1970's when Right to property which was a fundamental right of every Indian citizen and was mentioned in constitution. This right to property was taken out by some shrewd politicians through some dirty tricks. After that a race of builders started to evacuate land through force by use of unethical means & a very fast of development was noticed in which the areas which were already well settled were demolished & people were thrown out and land was given to Private companies who started polluting the environment on a large scale. Rivers like yamuna became a nala. Delhi & Bombay became most polluted cities of the world. Most of Indian forest land was given to Companies & most forest were cut down & we became ganja from the top as can be seen from present forest maps. The temperature is continously rising since that time. We are taught at schools not to pollute our environment & conserve our resources but in actual we pollute very less & these companies pollute in TONS and waste resources in big lots we can't even imagine in our life.
Then came the TV news media & private channnels were established who were insensitive to nationalism since they had to cover their expenditures they need more money then Paper news media hence they started getting inclined towards private companies & slowly started neglecting the atrocities brought about by these companies on nature & people & the workers. And a new phase of biased TV news media emerged which promoted too much of development neglecting the side effects.
At the same time Copying west type education was progressed through these Media & peoples who wear pants were considered inteliigents & those who wear indian clothes were seen as inferior. Even a TV serial mafia was introduced where even the poorest of the poorest were wearing diamond sets and modern clothes & heavy make ups.
These TV News Media now started supporting political parties which favored development and open gates for private companies so that they can get more advertisements. Soon these News Media realised that they could get more money if Foreign Companies are also allowed since they pay in dollars & suddenly some government introduced globalisation as policy and instead of east india company new western world companies started coming to our country & lot of money was shifted to swiss banks
    10. Now since less land is left Govt is now concentrating on eastern part of our country. Singroor is one such example. These MNC's take mineral resources out of our country at very cheap rates & after making machines from these minerals like aluminium used for making airplanes sell us back at very high price.
    11. it is also said that Dawood & some criminals providing these naxalite-maoist with money & technology on directions of ISI, hence we need to be cautious to solve this problem. We should use helicopters to track these people but not to kill them since casuality will be much more & since 25% of these are women it would be difficult to differentiate between naxalite & tribals. Most importantly not all naxalite wear uniforms hence we should first get it defined that who will be called a naxalite & then govt. should declare emergency in these areas since political leaders are very corrupt & some Honest person from president's team should directly start talk with these people. Restablishing poor & tribals into the villages & verifyng the role of police in last 50 years because most of the time it corruption police which leads to such group formations. & finally peace would be established within 1 or 2 years definitely

Maoists Terror Attack in West Bengal, 20 killed, 150 injured

Maoists blasted rail tracks in West Midnapore district in the wee hours Friday, derailing 13 coaches of a Mumbai-bound express train, five of which were hit by a goods train, leaving 20 dead and 104 others injured, the second attack on civilians by Naxals this month.

The blast occurred at 1:30 am when the Howrah-Kurla Lokmanya Tilak Gyaneshwari Super Deluxe Express was running between Khemasoli and Sardiya stations, about 135 km from here, South Eastern Railway officials said.

Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee, who is at the accident spot, said that the blast which caused the express train to derail took place on the first day today of the a four day 'Black week' called by the Maoists.
