A religion administers a code of conduct to one’s life, it provides discipline to one’s ideology and direction to beliefs. India is a secular country where a number of religions are followed by the people of varied castes, creeds, groups and races. Different religious beliefs and ethos conduct the lives of the people in India while maintaining the unity in diversity. But just for once if we tend to imagine that these all religions get assimilated into one big religion of the country and becomes the national religion? How wonderful it would be to be guided and directed by the one National religion? But which religion is that that truly deserves to become the national religion of the country and that strictly does not boost any biases? Certainly it is; ‘Nationalism’ that deserves to become the national religion of India because it has the power to bring the people of varied religions under a single roof. Nationalism as a national religion would miraculously bring a change in the perceptions and actions of the people, where each of us would be devoted and compassionate for our motherland.

A religion that would integrate us, that would assist us in the way of growth and expansion of the nation. This national religion would reinforce the passion and love for the country in each one of our hearts. There would be no prejudices and under the guidance of this national religion people would be more focused upon the building up a strong nation, their actions would be more orderly for the welfare of different aspects of the nation, people would concentrate upon virtuous values of devotion, respect, tolerance, patience and compassion with regard to the country.

Every wise Indian would support this view, let us see how many of you really think the same and support this genuine thought.
