    A Project of University of Delhi, Supported by Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Govt. of India and with financial assistance from Consumer Welfare Fund.

    The project recognizes the need of consumers for a Telephone Helpline to deal with a host of problems arising in their day-to-day dealings with business and service providers.

    To provide telephonic advice, information and guidance to empower Indian consumers and persuade businesses to reorient their policy and management systems to address consumer concerns and grievances adopting world class standards.

    Congratulations to all those who conceived the idea of a Consumer help Line for the consumers of India and all those who made it possible for the helpline to happen.

    Yes, a lot of products are sold and transported by unauthorized people. There are many classic problems still there unorganized markets in many areas, black hoarding, monopoly, adulteration, etc.

    "Jaago Grahak Jaago" is also a nice campaign from these people.

    When we do need to pay our taxes while buying the goods we also should be rightly aware of how much are the charges. There are several other things that we need to get informed about. The national consumer helpline does a great job and is a futuristic implementation. You can dial a toll free number and get responses to any query of yours.

    this is a very useful information as people can just ring up and put their grievances before the consumer helpline people. with such nation wide consumer helpline facility public can reach the officials faster and get advice on the same in no time. this is a good gesture from the governments end to introduce such a facility.

    well this would be of great help because call centres are well informed of how to answer calls and attend different kinds of people. this is a faster process of reaching customer care. i hope more and more of such services come into activity so that the processes improve in efficiency
