It is the birth place of arithmetic and trigonometry, which are the main components of mathematics today. It has one of the richest culture, literature and heritage. More than 1600 languages are spoken in the country. India is also the world's largest democracy. The land is rich in natural resources as well is bestowed with natural beauty.
