Mortality is the most contemplative book by Hitchens. It is an unsparingly sincere explanation of the damages of his disease, an examination of cancer decorum, and the afterthought to a lifetime of ferocious discussion and unrivaled writing style. In this fluent conflict with mortality, Hitchens returns a human face to a disease that has become a current symbol of suffering. The book is on how the author went through the modern Cancer treatment after he collapsed in a Hotel room in New York. Overall it is a nice book and quite thoughtful.
