A woman is a significant role player in a family, in fact without a woman it is just so difficult to presume a proper functioning of the whole family. A woman is always devoted to her family where the whole of her time is entirely consumed in the family. Since she has a number of roles to play for her family she is a mother, a sister, wife and a friend, she is constantly trying to obey her responsibilities and duties at her best. Besides this the women of today are also working and independent that further makes their life more challenging for them. And this hustle and bustle women sometimes become little careless for themselves, as a result of which they unwillingly have to face many of the physical problems. There are numerous of health problems women are facing and struggling with. Migraine is one such health problem by which a majority of working as well as homemaker women are suffering with.

Migraine is basically a severe kind of headache that is very common among the women today. So far the exact causes of the migraine have not been declared but still it is considered to be caused due to irregular and unbalanced lifestyle. Medical practitioners and researchers believe that it is caused due to the fluctuation in the balance of body chemical that is called Serotonin. Thus the level of Serotonin goes down, it causes the blood vessels to stretch or to swell that further results in the form of severe and intense headache. Migraine pain/ headache is actually very tough to bear. Young girls of age 16-20 and women of the age 25-35 are commonly found to complain against this problem. Symptoms of this pain usually differ in every female. Prime symptoms of Migraine are dull or intense ache on the side of the head or both sides or even at the center of the head, dizziness, fatigue, irritability from bright lights, odor & noise, then sudden sweating and fractions in vision could be complained against this pain.

Due to a disturbed and unbalanced lifestyle such as missing the sleep for long hours, disturbed menstrual cycle, intake of more nicotine or toxic food items, excessive physical activities, contraceptive pills/ particular medicines, constipation, chilling weather, fasting, and intake of alcohol might be the biggest reasons for causing migraine pain. Proper medical guidance along with regular exercise, intake of herbal medicines, increased intake of leafy vegetables with high fiber, intake of plenty of water, avoiding loud sounds, avoiding alcohol, taking a proper and sound sleep, proper rest, meditation/relaxation and positive thinking would help immensely as the cure and preventions of this problem.
