Individualism in very simple terms can be understood as the exercise of social outlook, political philosophies, moral and psychological ideologies that encourage an individual to gain personal growth, independent identity and self-reliance. Individualism is such a framework that motivates the individual to seek for the fulfillment of his own desires and enables the person to focus upon his individuality and liberation within the society. Whereas Nationalism is a broad perspective that includes the ethos, thoughts, moral, social and political ideologies that encourage the individual to attain and contribute to the growth and development of the Nation. Here the focus of the individual is not self-centered rather he/she is completely directed in the way of applying humanistic actions to accomplish the desired goals of the Nation. In the recent few years we have observed that the Indian youth is nevertheless becoming focused and determined in order to give a right direction to their future but simultaneously they also need to put in their efforts in the way of the growth of the Nation.

The nation needs such young and fresh minds who can contribute to the expansion and maturation of the social, economic and political spheres of the country. The youth is needed to create a balance between their individual and nationalistic aspirations and ideologies so that both aspects can be maintained well in a balance. Youth cannot be biased for only one aspect, and moreover merging of both of the ethos will help them to reach a sustainable development both at the personal and national level. What do you think about this?
