Aware and alert that is how we describe the Indian youth of today. They are aware and concerned about making the right choices and adapting what is good for them. Where the youth shows so much of awareness in all other aspects of life, how much aware are they for their mental health aspect? After seeing the rapidly increasing indulgence of the youth in the activities that increase agitation, stimulation in their minds and that which are provoking, it is tough to say that the youth is quite aware of their mental health status. Playing video games full of violence and agitation, listening to loud music, using gadgets full of apps, watching horror and violent stuff certainly impact the peace of mind by making the mind restless and anxious. Youth should try to balance their activities and try to get involved in the activities that make them feel fresh and energized, that retains the power of mind and that helps them to conserve their mental energy and not depletes it.
