Making the Minister Smile by Anurag Mathur is a book that has overshadow of his earlier book Inscrutable Americans. It is the story of an American coming to India for a business deal which has gone wrong due to the local worker troubles. The story is about American working around India trying to learn the language and adapting to the conditions. It really didn’t like the book and it is similar to his earlier book and I won’t recommend it to anyone.
