Lovetorn by Kavita Daswani is a book that tells that story of the journey sixteen-year-old Shalini Agarwal makes when her father moves to a new job in Los Angeles. The journey brings changes for the life of the girl as well as her family. It is a decent book by the author but could not create the magic that it was expected to. The book is a fast read but does not offer anything exceptionally good. However, it might be liked by many readers but I personally did not enjoy reading the book.
