One of the very reasons why the crimes and violence are increasing day by day in our country is the lack of strictness in our laws of conduct. Laws, rules and regulations are so much lenient that they in a way boost up the morale of the criminals. The criminals or let’s say anyone who commits crime have no fear of law and punishments, there have been numerous of cases which were never been heard, and the criminals were never got punished. Corruption has also jinxed the roots of Indian Laws because of which the criminals are easily escaped from any detection and punishment. The fact is that the laws are not properly followed and applied on the criminals; once the criminals are strictly punished the rate of crimes would automatically decrease. What is important is to create a fear of punishment in the hearts of the criminals as well as the person who tries to commit any crime. Monetary punishment should also be made stricter, the amount of penalties should be so higher that it seems completely tough for the criminal to pay the amount; only this way the criminals would be scared of the penalty. Do you think the same that our Indian laws lack in strictness? And what suggestions you want to give regarding this?
Now-a- days the problem is crime not criminals. Criminals are also humans like us but the only difference is we are not under the clouds of crime they are under the clouds of crime. Regionalism is a major cause of crime and unrest among people. Such people that harbor such regionalist feelings often go to great lengths to commit crimes against other communities. Political power is often misused to take advantage of weaker groups and people and the dissidence that rises out of such situations often force the victims to resort to crimes. Politics is more related to crime on a much larger and a much heinous level than anything else. People are often driven to great lengths of desperation by poverty and this is a major cause of crime all around the world. These things have concluded as frustration among the individuals tempering them to be wild in society. All possible measures must be taken to solve issues patiently with proper laws and regulations.
