Hinduism is considered as the most prominent religion of India. But in ancient India and especially during the medieval period, two other religions which flourished and spreaded like fire were Buddhism and Jainism. It is said that the supremacy imposed by the hindu brahmins led to birth of these new religions. Lord Mahavir ji and Buddha spoke to people in their own language as compared to the complicated sacred texts of Hindus written in Sanskrit.

the religion jainism is found only in india where as the buddhism is found all over the world. but it feels amazing that both these great religions have indian origin. this is something we can be proud of that we have given it to the world. many people across the world respect buddhism as it preaches peace and wisdom.
