Communalism is deeply rooted in the Indian society. Every community and group belonging to different castes, ethnicity and creeds want to strengthen the communal feelings and unity within each other. They want their communal ideologies to be spread all over the society, and this desire sometimes takes a very horrendous picture when different communities become violent for each other and wish to abolish the identity of other communities. Each community/group wants its monopoly in the society and such a narrow thinking motivate them to get indulged in the harmful acts that instead of strengthening the unity within their own community, they rather destroy the humanity and innocent people. The feeling of creating the ownership in the society, is indeed an inferior ideology. Strengthening one's identity can be commenced in a healthy and positive way such as doing welfare and beneficial things for the community as well as the society but perceiving the other community as a competitor and trying to cease its existence it certainly not a Justified act. What is your view about such communities that encourage communal violence and riots in the Indian society?
