Rape is one of the heinous crimes committed regularly against the Indian women. It has now become so common and a regular practice of the Indian men. Numerous of girls and women are being raped everyday, it has been surveyed that there is a rape taking place at every next hour. The insane men folks who commit this crime are not bothered about whether it is just a small girl or an old aged woman. They just want to commit rape and they do it savagely and brutally. Numerous of studies have been conducted to understand the attitudes and mentalities of the criminals who have had committed such crimes and what has caught the attention is the reason purpose behind why Indian men are involved in rapes against women. Indian society is basically grounded in the Patriarchal system that enforces the domination and authority of men over the social system. On the other hand Indian women have always been subjected to dominance, and suppression in the society, no matter how much harder they try to upgrade themselves, the chauvinists would never accept them being equal in status and caliber. And this is something that is happening in our society where the rate of crimes and violence against women is increasing day by day. It has been found that the men who committed rapes were not only drove by the sexual favors, but they had the mentality to dominate/possess/crush the individuality of the woman. They have the mentality that woman is an object that can be possessed and can be humiliated anytime and anyhow according to the wish of a man. This reflects a menial ideology of patriarchy according to which women are considered to be weaker and inferior to men and this very ideology is so strongly inbuilt even in the young boys that even the adolescents have begun to commit such a crime against small girls/infants. Lack of education, counselling and male dominance are the top most reasons behind this scenario.
I dont think so its Always About Man trying to rule Woman. Some cases are so where a woman is trying to overpower the Man.
