26/11 a dark day in Indian History, when the terrorist attacked the Taj hotel in Mumbai city and killed several lives of India. Ajmal Kasab is the lone capture of this attack and just 5 days before the 4th anniversary of 26/11 attack, was hanged and buried in the Pune’s Yerwada Jail at 7.30 am. However, can we say that the hanging of Ajmal Kasab is the end of terrorism? What are your views?
Although hanging of Kasab is a great decision by the President of India, who did not accept the mercy petition. However, it is not the end of terrorism but it is surely the beginning of ending terrorism in India. India has shown that there is no mercy for the one who spreads terrorism in India and kills the innocent people. Hanging of Kasab has brought justice to those innocent people who lost their lives in the 26/11 attack in Mumbai.
Hanging of Kasab cannot be said to be the end of terrorism because he was only a machinery and there still exist many terrorist groups in the World. Nevertheless, it was finally a remarkable decision and it will be a lesson for the terrorist groups. Terrorism can only be ended by identifying the root cause and putting an end to it.
No hanging of Kasab is not an end to terrorism. However, India have proved that terrorism will not be tolerated by us and although it is a soft nation, it is not a weak nation. We do not tolerate killing of our brothers and sisters and we will not spare anyone who tries to terrorize our nation by their action. It is a lesson to all the terrorists of the World that no act of terrorism will be tolerated in our nation.
