Congress will be fighting the upcoming Lok Sabha election by making Rahul Gandhi the mascot. In my view it is a big mistake by the Congress. Rahul Gandhi has proved his worth in last 5 years with his involvement in the UP election. He is no longer considered as a worth politician and just being born in a political family or being the son of the Chief of Congress, Sonia Gandhi does not make him eligible to become a leader. What do you think? Is congress taking a risk by making Rahul Gandhi the mascot of 2014 elections?

Congress had won the last election by making Rahul Gandhi the mascot but this time I don't think Rahul Gandhi'd face will do any wonder for the party as he could not prove himself efficient as a leader during these years and he drastically failed even in the UP elections and could not create the magic that he created during the last lok sabha election. I think that congress is taking a risk by making Rahul Gandhi the mascot of 2014 elections

I think congress is taking a risk by making Rahul Gandhi the mascot of 2014 elections. People no longer have faith upon him after his performance in the last UP elections, where Congress drastically failed under his leadership. Thus, making him the mascot may turn the way around as well as lessen their chance of wining the forth coming elections.

Yes, Congress is taking the risk by by making Rahul Gandhi the mascot of 2014 elections. Rahul Gandhi is no longer a trust factor for the people of India to vote for Congress, although, the face worked wonders for the party in the last election. After seeing his performance in the last five years, he is no longer considered as a leader by the people and making him the mascot for the 2014 elections can be really harm the party instead of doing good.

I guess so that Congress is taking a risk by making Rahul Gandhi the mascot of 2014 elections. I don't think people anymore trust upon Rahul Gandhi as a leader as he has proved his incompetence several times. Moreover, he is no good leader and only by being born to the family of great Politicians, he is should not be made the mascot for the election. Congress should have made someone else the mascot of 2014 elections.
