Is Akalidal encouraging terrorism in Punjab?

The Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) has along with Shiromani Akalidal who is leading a coalition Government in Punjab has honored the assassins of former Army Chief General A.S. Vaidya, who led the Bluestar operation in 1984. It is an act of encouraging terrorism by calling the assassins as martyrs and giving them respect. They are even opening museum to honor the ones who demanded for a different country for the Sikh community called Khalistan. Even the Punjab Government is supporting this act whereas they should have honoured Army Chief General A.S. Vaidya for his sacrifice for the nation. Even the BJP who claims to the biggest nationalist party is not intervening into it.

What is the future of India if such things are encouraged? Will there ever be an end to terrorism if the terrorist are called martyrs and given due respect?

It is indeed a matter of shame that the Punjab Government is supporting a group that is honoring terrorist. This act proves that the future of India is not very bright and terrorism will never come to an end if such acts are encouraged. The Government needs to probe into these matter because, it is a threat to the National Security of the nation. You are right that atleast BJP and its allies who claims themselves to be Nationalist should have actually intervened into the matter.
