Love has never confined anyone, rather that which does so, can never be called as Love. Love sets the person free, and finds the true bliss and happiness in the prosperity and joy of the other person. Love encourages sacrifices and empathy with others. But in the recent few years love has tremendously been misunderstood and misinterpreted by the youth. Youth tend to perceive love as possession of a person or a relationship. For them love has become such a reality that leads them to get indulged in amiss things inspired by their short lived infatuations and lusts. Love has become like a fashion among the youth, keeping a girlfriend and a boyfriend is a newly emerged trend among them, the youth just cannot imagine a survival when someone remains ‘single’ in a relationship. These temporary infatuations and lust sometimes take a very dangerous form when the few people among the youth tend to act in fatal ways and become possessive for someone such as acid throwing on girls, physical abuse and violence, doing melodrama and hampering the image of the other person, coercion for getting the consent of the girl and so on.

Does throwing acid, and using physical violence can ever let one to deserve someone’s special love or attention? Can force and lust bring you the love of your life? Certainly ‘Not’! The youth of today at first, must need to clarify their visions and perception about the so called ‘Love’. They should interpret the true essence of love in its righteous manner. Following awful acts will only make you miserable and depicts the menial level of the mentality and wisdom. Love can never be possessed or snatched. It is earned by the pure and wise feelings and actions. The youth is a little immature to fathom the significance and purpose of true love in their lives, that which makes them delirious and motivates them to practice indecent actions, is certainly not the Love they think it to be!

Love is a wonderful feeling, somewhat completes the human soul. However with the progression of time, the definition of love has changed for the youth that considers love as the physical possession of a body considering the anatomy often as an entity. Love and relationship are cohesive terms and the term "relationship" often misguides the youth to grow possessive over their loved ones, they start treating them as their property and this leads to fatal consequences as mentioned earlier.
