Both India and US have had some common interests over the years. Be it in terms of trade and commerce, or sharing of human resource and technology, both the nations have been doing great. But India, looking at the past activities of US in Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan, should rethink over the extent of strategic alliance it should have with US. Although India has Pakistan and china as potential conflict neighbors, it should wisely choose its alliance and limit the extent of reliability. It should rather shift towards self-reliability.
